What Prodigy is
Prodigy is a game-based learning program for math and English. Students answer standards-aligned questions inside an adaptive game. Prodigy Math covers grades 1 to 8, and Prodigy English covers grades 1 to 6.
The in-game questions are free. Parents can make a free parent account to see progress. Paid memberships add extra game features for the child. The company says memberships help keep Prodigy free for teachers.
